Maroons Double Predators

The Chatham Maroons have won their seventh straight game with an 8-4 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators Thursday night.

The Maroons took a 3-1 lead in the first period and increased it to 7-3 going into the third. Both teams scored once in the final 20 minutes, ensuring Chatham's win.

Brennan Feasey led the Maroons with two goals, while Steven Szekesy, Brayden Hopkins, Nate Pietens, Mark Fratarcangelli, Jared Dennis and Ian Faubert each scored one.

The Maroons face off against the St. Marys Lincolns on Friday at 7:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
