Championship On The Line

The Amherstburg Admirals are looking to stop Essex from punching their ticket to the Schmalz Cup tournament.

The 73's lead the Great Lakes Junior C finals 3-2, and play Game 6 in Amherstburg tonight.

Admirals Head Coach Paul Bortignon is asking his players to stay loose -- he doesn't want to see them gripping their sticks tight under the pressure. "We've done a good job at home in this series. They've both been 2-1 hockey games and we've had great performances from our goalie," explains the coach. "I think the mentality for our team tonight is just, 'keep the trophy in its case, and let's see it on Sunday.'"

Puck drop is set for 7pm.
