Leamington & LaSalle Win

The Leamington Flyers and LaSalle Vipers both picked up big wins in their Sutherland Cup semi-final series.

Leamington needed three overtimes to edge Caledonia 4-3. Mitchell Amante scored the OT winner to even up the series at 1-1.

The LaSalle Vipers downed Elmira 7-4. Daniel Beaudoin and teammate Nathan Savage both scored twice for the Vipers. Elmira still leads that series 2-1.

LaSalle and Leamington are both back in action on Tuesday night. The Vipers host Elmira, while the Flyers head to Caledonia.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
