Sutherland Cup Semis Continue

LaSalle can tie up its Sutherland Cup semi-final tonight with a home win.

The Vipers have actually lost their last four playoff games at home, but Head Coach Bill Bowler says a 7-4 Game 3 win in Elmira has the team feeling better about itself. "The first two (losses against the Sugar Kings) at 7-2 wasn't the scores we'd like. We're up against an extremely tough opponent, but with a win tonight we're right back in the series. That's what we're hoping for."

Bowler says Elmira's a more mature team than LaSalle, but he feels if his team can get on the scoreboard early, they've got a shot to win.

The Leamington Flyers also play tonight in Caledonia. That series is tied at a game a piece.
