Vanroboys Hopes To Join Fox

Thamesville's Lucas Vanroboys is looking forward to getting an opportunity to play alongside a familiar face in the OHL.

Vanroboys was selected by the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection Draft and will have a chance to make the team that his cousin Trent Fox plays for right now.

"We'd play everything together - mini sticks, road hockey, even baseball and basketball," says Vanroboys, adding he and Trent would often be paired up to play against his older cousin Dane and his friends, "It's a strange feeling going to an OHL junior team and having your cousin play on the same ice surface as you."

Vanroboys is currently attending a prep school in Connecticut, playing for the South Kent Selects U-16 team.
