Red Devils Win, Thrashers Lose

The Wallaceburg Red Devils Jr. B lacrosse team closed out their regular season with a 13-5 win over Point Edward.

The Red Devils rallied in the second and third period thanks to three goals and five assists from Corey Lucier.

No word yet on when the Red Devils opening round playoff series starts.

Meanwhile, the Wallaceburg Thrashers Sr. B lacrosse team lost a close one, falling 8-6 to Brooklin.

Colin McDowall had three goals for the Thrashers, who at the end of the second period had a 6-2 lead.

The Thrashers are off until Saturday, July 4 when they host Oakville.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
