Five Medals For CK Swimmer

Day five of the Canadian Age Group Championships saw a fifth medal for a Chatham-Kent Swimmer.

Madison Broad came in second in the 50 metre Butterfly in the 14-year division. She earned 3 gold, a silver and a bronze medal overall in the meet.

Other finishes saw Chatham's Genevieve Sasseville finish 7th in the same event for 12-year-olds.

Blenheim's Brendan Vanherk placed 19th in the butterfly (15-year-old division), and 14th in the 200m IM.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
