Golf Tour Makes Final Stop

The Jamieson Jr. Golf Tour will crown its overall champions today.

Golfers from across the region are on the course at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor, the final stop on the tour.

Thomas DeMarco of Essex leads Amherstburg's Marcus Slipchuk in the Jr. Boys standings by 0.5 points heading into today.

Melanie Burgess of Windsor lead's Chatham Brooke MacKinnon by 2.5 points in the Jr. Girls standings.

Bryce Evon clinched the Collegiate Men's title earlier this week, while Sara Holland leads Emily Stadder by 0.5 points in the Collegiate Women's standings.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
