Spits Report To Camp

Players with the Windsor Spitfires start reporting to camp today.

New Associate Coach Trevor Letowski says the process of really getting to know the players will start.

"That's the most important thing with me and (head coach) Rocky (Thompson) coming in, it's about relationships and building those up, and building trust both ways," says Letowski. He adds that they're giving the players a clean slate. "It's kind of a restart button for a lot of them, some of them had tough years, some of them had pretty good years but they're getting a fresh kind of feel from the coaches and I think that can be good especially after the tough year that the team went through last year."

Players will undergo physicals and get their paperwork in order ahead of tomorrow when they'll take to the ice.

You can listen to the entire interview at BlackburnNews.com every Wednesday on our new feature Let's Talk Spits With Letowski.
