Cumming Steps Down From Maroons

When the Chatham Maroons open the pre-season tonight, they will be without their assistant General Manager.

Bill Cumming has stepped down to spend for family reasons.

"It's obviously a huge loss," says Roeszler. "He's been with the team for eight years, but you know, he felt like he wanted to spend more time with his family."

Roeszler adds that other people in the organization will step up to fill Cumming's role.

"We still have our General Manager and you know people will kind of fill that void by committee in terms of player cards, and paper work and that kind of thing."

Tonight's game against the Legionnaires gets underway at 7pm in Sarnia.
