Lancer Golf Looking To Take Next Step

The Windsor Lancers golf teams will be decided this week.

Head coach of both the men's and women's teams Adam Wagner says 24 players are attending training camp, which starts Monday.

He thinks the teams can improve on their overall OUA ranking of ninth, and hopefully crack the top five to make the national tournament by the end of the season.

"Some of the players we've got coming in have some big tournament experience, and solid experience under their belts," says Wagner. "We're really excited."

Wagner adds that he's been recruiting hard this summer, and has a few players coming in from out of province.

Players will play through tournament rounds until the end of the week.
