Maroons Host Legionnaires

The Chatham Maroons play their final preseason game tonight when they host the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Tyler Roeszler is entering his first full season as the Maroons head coach and is excited to be there from the start.

"You can kind of see the progress over the course of the season," says Roeszler. "It's always nice when you can get a team right from the start, kind of instill different things from the discipline side of it, but as well as from the technical and system side of it."

Chatham hosts Sarnia tonight at 7pm at Memorial Arena.

The Maroons open the regular season Saturday afternoon against Niagara Falls at the Western Fairgrounds at 4:30pm as a part of the GOJHL showcase. You can hear a live broadcast of that game on Country 92.9 FM/630 AM CFCO or stream it online here.
