Spitfires Top Storm 5-1

It didn't take long for the Windsor Spitfires to get back to their winning ways, beating the Guelph Storm in a home ice matinee Saturday.

Four different Spitfires scored in the game, including Christian Fischer, who bookended scoring for Windsor in the first and third periods. He also added an assist. Andrew Burns, Aaron Luchuk and Logan Brown also scored for the Spitfires.

Garret Hughson was solid in net for the Spits, stopping 32 of 33 shots.

Windsor will now have a nearly week-long break before heading to Niagara to face the Ice Dogs Thursday.
