Local Runners At OFSAA

Seven runners from Chatham-Kent are near Collingwood today to compete at the provincial high school cross-country championship.

Six of those athletes are from Chatham-Kent Secondary School.

Delainey Johnson and Chloe Pugh compete in the Jr. girls division, while Cameron Ross is running in Jr. boys.

In Sr. girls, Ally Oulds is representing the Golden Hawks, while Josh Kellier and Quinn Cannella are competing in the Sr. boys division.

The only runner not from CKSS who qualified for OFSAA was Aiden Lachine from ESPC, who qualify for midget boys.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
