Carleton Sets Record In Debut

Chatham's Bridget Carleton shined in her debut for the Iowa State Cyclones basketball team this weekend.

The guard posted 28 points in her team's 95-59 throttling of Hampton University, an ISU record for most points in a freshman debut.

Carleton shot 54% from the field, including going five-for-11 from behind the three-point line. She also finished with a double-double, adding 11 rebounds.

Iowa State will now travel to Des Moines to take on Drake University Sunday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
