Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – November 14, 2015

The Leamington Flyers hammered the Lambton Shores Predators 7-2 in GOJHL action on Saturday.

Mitchell Amante and Scott Emerson led Leamington with two goals each, while Cale Phibbs, Colin Moore and Mark Gangnon each scored one.

In Great Lakes Junior C hockey action, the Wallaceburg Lakers fell 6-2 to the Alvinston Flyers.

Justin Lindsay and George Woods scored the two goals for the Lakers.

As well, the Essex 73's were edged 4-3 by the Mooretown Flags.

William Stadder, Brett Vorshuk and Tyler Scott all scored once for Essex.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
