Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – November 19, 2015

In the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, the LaSalle Vipers fell 4-1 to the Leamington Flyers on Thursday.

After the the Flyers took a 2-0 lead in the first period, the Vipers were unable to catch up. Both teams scored in the second, but Leamington ensured their win with a final goal in the third.

Cale Phibbs, Mitchell Amante, J.P. Grineau and Scott Emerson scored one each for the Flyers.

Liam MacDougall scored the Vipers' only goal.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
