OFSAA Update

Pain Court's Sr. girls basketball team lost their opening game at the 'A' OFSAA tournament in Windsor, falling 48-25 to the #1 ranked team.

Daniella Lucier scored 12 points for the 11th ranked Patriotes, who will be back in action Friday at 1pm.

Meanwhile, the 7th ranked CKSS Golden Hawks won 27-25, 25-23 this morning at the 'AAA' OFSAA tournament. They're back in action at 1:30pm this afternoon.

Wallaceburg's Sr. girls basketball plays at 12:30pm this afternoon at the 'AA' tournament in Kingsville. The Tartans are ranked third.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
