Day 1 OFSAA Results

It was a mixed bag of results on day one for three local teams competing at OFSAA.

The Sr. boys volleyball team from CKSS won their first game at the 'AAA' tournament yesterday 27-25, 25-23, lost their second in three sets, 12-25, 25-20, 11-15, and dropped their final game 28-30, 19-25. The 7th ranked Golden Hawks play their final round robin game at 1:30pm today.

Wallaceburg's girls basketball team won their opening game at the 'AA' tournament 74-21. The 3rd ranked Tartans are back in action at 1:30pm today in Kingsville.

Pain Court's girls basketball team lost their first game at the 'A' tournament 48-28. The 11th ranked Patriotes are back on the court at 1pm today.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
