Maroons Headline Busy Junior Hockey Schedule

The Chatham Maroons are eyeing second place in the GOJHL as they travel to St. Thomas tonight.

The Stars sit four points up on Chatham right now, but the Maroons have a game in hand.

Head Coach Tyler Roeszler says his team has to match St. Thomas' effort and speed, early.

"Both teams are very good, in terms of special teams -- I think we're both top-five in the entire GOJHL. So five-on-five is going to be important, the team that's willing to skate, and then ultimately who can capitalize on their powerplays," he says.

In three meetings with the Stars this season, Chatham has come out on top twice.

In Tier II Junior A, the Kingsville Kings battle for top spot in the GMHL, at home against the Toronto Attack.

Junior C action has Amherstburg in Lakeshore, Blenheim visiting Alvinston and Wheatley at Dresden.
