Key Pieces Back For Blades

The Blenheim Blades are looking to get back in the win column, as they play in Wallaceburg tonight.

GM Wayne Cowell says the team was missing its entire top line of forwards on Saturday when it lost to Dresden, snapping a six-game winning streak.

"That really hurts your hockey club, when you're missing guys you expect to sort of carry the team. But on a whole, we're playing pretty well right now," he says.

Cowell says two of the three were out because of injuries, but they're expecting to play tonight, while another is serving a suspension.

Wallaceburg is riding a seven-game losing streak.

Elsewhere in Jr. C action, Wheatley visits Mooretown.

The Flags last loss came against the Sharks, back on November 7.

In Jr. B hockey, LaSalle hosts Chatham.
