Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – December 2, 2015

In Great Lakes Junior C hockey action, the Wallaceburg Lakers lost their eighth game in a row in a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Blenheim Blades.

On Wednesday, Corbin Hagerman, Bryce Broad, Brayden Hopkins , Dylan Hathaway and Drew Marlatt scored one goal each for the Blades. Justin Lindsay and George Wood scored the two goals for Wallaceburg.

As well, the Wheatley Sharks took a bite out of the Mooretown Flags with a 6-4 victory the same night.

Mitchell Prudence led the Sharks with two goals, while Frankie Ciacelli, Nick Tavolieri-Essex, Cole Butler and Brett Bowman each scored one.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
