No Gold For Local Teams

While local high school basketball teams fared well throughout this weekend's Blue And White Tournament, Chatham-Kent was not represented in the gold medal game.

The Glendale Gemini out of Tillsonburg have won the 47th annual tournament, beating out St. Pat's 62-60.

John McGregor earned a 53-46 victory in the bronze medal game over London's Catholic Central, after losing in the semifinals to the eventual tournament champions. UCC and Chatham-Kent Secondary School battled it out in the Consolation Championship, with UCC coming out on top 48-38.

John McGregor's Colin Van Dusen and UCC's Logan Howard were the two local players named to the tournament all-star team.
