Junior Hockey Wrap-up: December 7, 2015

Monday's lone Junior C hockey game was a barn burner as the Lakeshore Canadiens defeated the Wheatley Sharks 7-6 in overtime.

After the Sharks opened the scoring floodgates with three goals in the second period, Lakeshore did the same in the third, capped off by newly-acquired defenseman Logan Percy with less than five minutes to play. Brandon Ireland would seal it for the Canadiens 6:31 into the OT frame.

Lakeshore's JJ Percy finished with a total of four points, including an assist on the game-winner. Wheatley's Brett Bowman added two goals and two assists of his own.

Next up for the Canadiens is a Wednesday night tilt against Wallaceburg. Wheatley will play Dresden on Friday.
