Junior Hockey Wrap Up – December 9, 2015

The Wallaceburg Lakers fell 5-3 to the Lakeshore Canadiens in their tenth straight loss in Junior C hockey action.

On Wednesday, Sebastian Kanally, Kyle Gagnon, Aaron Moore, Austin Jennings and Brenden Crundwell all scored once for Lakeshore.  Keenan Clarke led the Lakers with two goals, while Jackson Gray scored one.

In GOJHL action, the LaSalle Vipers fell 5-1 to the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Liam MacDougall scored LaSalle's only goal.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
