Junior Hockey Wrap Up – December 13, 2015

In Great Lakes Junior C hockey on Sunday, the Amherstburg Admirals tied the Dresden Kings 2-2 after no scoring in overtime.

Jordan Luciw and Dylan Muzzatti scored the two goals for the Admirals, while Ben Nicholls and Isaac McLean scored one each for the Kings.

Also, the Blenheim Blades doubled the Alvinston Flyers 6-3.

Dustin Maines led the Blades with two goals.

In Junior A hockey, the Kingsville Kings beat the Niagara Whalers 4-2.

And in GOJHL action, the Leamington Flyers edged the Strathroy Rockets 3-2 in double overtime.

Aaron Langlois led the Flyers with two goals, while Mitchell Amante scored the game winner in second OT.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
