In Junior C hockey on Saturday, the Wheatley Sharks beat the Wallaceburg Lakers 4-1.
Nick Tavolieri-Essex scored two goals for Wheatley. Also Eric Prudence and Kristian Brockelbank scored one each. Justin Lindsay scored Wallaceburg's only goal.
As well, the Lakeshore Canadiens doubled the Mooretown Flags 4-2. Dylan Kolic, JJ Percy, Austin Jennings and Brandon Ireland all scored once for Lakeshore.
In Junior A hockey, the Kingsville Kings blanked the Toronto Ice Jets 8-0.
In GOJHL action, the LaSalle Vipers fell 7-4 to the London Nationals. Eric Kirby led the Vipers with two goals, while Manny Silverio and Tyler Russell both scored one.
