Krieger Among Local Jr. Hockey Prospects

A number of local Jr. B hockey players will be putting their skills on display at the GOJHL's top prospects game tonight.

Chatham Maroons forward Ross Krieger will be suiting up for Team Blue along his teammate Dede Cato.

"I've had a decent year so far," says Krieger. "I think I could do a lot better and I'm getting better every game, so I just have to keep developing at the same pace."

While the players are on the ice, they'll have some important spectators watching from the stands.

"I think there will be NCAA scouts and OHL scouts and the email we got said some NHL scouts," says Krieger. "It's a big game for us and we just have to come out and work hard."

Team Blue also features four members of the LaSalle Vipers (Liam MacDougall, Manny Silverio, Kyle Auger, Eli Billing), while Leamington Flyers goalie Tyler Wall will suit up for Team White.

Tonight's game starts at 6pm at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph.
