Jr. Hockey Wrap Up - Monday, December 28, 2015

Team White beat Team Blue 8-6 at the GOJHL Top Prospects game in Guelph.

Tyler Wall from the Leamington Flyers faced 12 shots and made 11 saves to pick up the win for Team White.

Eli Billing of the LaSalle Vipers made 12 saves on 13 shots and took the loss fro Team Blue, while teammate Manny Silverio of the Vipers had an assist.

Ross Krieger and Dede Cato from the Chatham Maroons also played in yesterday's game.

In Great Lakes Jr. C hockey action, the Blenheim Blades/Wheatley Sharks game last night was cancelled due to a power outage at the arena in Wheatley.

The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
