LKSSAA Curling Champs Crowned

Ridgetown's girls curling team are LKSSAA champions.

The Royals eeked past Northern 9-8 in the semi-final, then downed UCC1 12-1 in the final yesterday. The Pines had advanced with a 5-4 win over CKSS1.

In boys action, Wallaceburg lost 7-3 to Northern in the final.

The Tartans advanced to the championship match after beating UCC2 7-5 in the semi-final.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
