Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – February 25, 2016

The Amherstburg Integrity Admirals tied their Junior C playoff series 1-1 with a 5-2 victory over the Blenheim Blades on Thursday.

Ryan Alexander led the Admirals with a hat-trick, while Luke Gangnon and Broden Meloche each scored one. Dustin Maines and Kirk McKillop scored the two goals for the Blades.

The Admirals and the Blades are back on the ice for Game 3 of the series on Saturday at 7:30pm.

In Junior B hockey, the Leamington Flyers edged to the St. Thomas Stars 2-1.

Matthew Opblinger and Mark Manchurek both scored once for Leamington.

The Flyers face the St. Marys Lincolns next on Friday at 7:30pm.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
