Spits Down Colts 4-2

The Windsor Spitfires scored their third straight win with a 4-2 victory over the Barrie Colts on Thursday.

The Spitfires started the game off with a 2-1 lead in the first, and continued with a 3-2 lead at the end of the second. Windsor finished the game with one final goal in the third cap off their win.

Spitfires centre Aaron Luchuk says it was a big win.

"We've won in Barrie and they beat us there, so we kind of owed them one," says Luchuk. "We put out a great performance. Mario [Culina] was great back in net, and we played great up front too so it was a good team win."

The Spits will take on the Flint Firebirds on Saturday starting at 7:30pm.
