Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – February 26, 2016

In Junior B hockey on Friday, the Leamington Flyers edged the St. Marys Lincolns 3-2 in overtime.

Mark Gangnon, Graham Brulotte and Aaron Langlois all scored once during regular play. Langlois also scored the game winner in OT.

As well, the LaSalle Vipers hammered the St. Thomas Stars 9-3.

Liam MacDougall led the Vipers with a hat-trick, while Nikko Sablone and Nathan Savage had two goals each. Eric Kirby and Tyler Russell also had one goal for LaSalle.

And in Junior A hockey, the Kingsville Kings crushed the Niagara Whalers  7-1 in Game 1 of their playoff series.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
