CKSS Star Commits To UWindsor

A member of the CKSS senior boys volleyball team is committing to the University of Windsor.

Pierce Johnson signed a letter of intent this morning during a ceremony held in the Ed Myers gym. Johnson says Windsor was the first school to approach him about his post-secondary career.

"I got a lot of reassurance that my volleyball career would grow there," Johnson explains. "It doesn't have class sizes as big as places like Toronto, The coach is just an awesome guy."

In addition to playing for the high school, Johnson is also a member of the LVC Fire 18U Heat after playing with the Chatham Ballhawks for four seasons.

Johnson was also a member of the Region 3 Ontario Winter Games silver medal team in 2014.
