Essex Going For Semi-Final Sweep

The 73's can punch their ticket to the GLJCHL finals with a win over Mooretown tonight.

Essex has outscored the flags 14-3 through the first three games of the series.

Head Coach Gil Langlois says he's treating this just like any other game.

"The games were closer than the score probably dictates," adds the coach. "We're feeling fortunate to be sitting there with that three-game lead, but we're going to take it."

Langlois admits his team is playing a bit banged up, so he's just hoping to come away with the win and no further injuries tonight.

Puck drop is set for 8pm in Mooretown.
