Blades Will Try To Bounce Back

The Blenheim Blades are facing elimination tonight in their Jr. C hockey semifinal.

They have to beat the Integrity Amherstburg Admirals on the road in order to force a decisive game seven in Blenheim on Sunday.

Blades General Manager Wayne Cowell says the two teams are very evenly matched.

"The last couple of games we have played in Amherstburg, we got down early," says Cowell. "One game was 4-2 before they scored an empty-netter and the other game was decided in overtime -- we just have to be more prepared to play 60 minutes of hockey."

Tonight's game starts at 7pm at the Libro Centre in Amherstburg.

The winner of this semifinal series will go on to face the Essex 73's in the Great Lakes Jr. C Hockey League Finals.
