Fox Dealt To Carolina Hurricanes

Thamesville's Dane Fox is on the move from a Canadian organization to sunny Carolina.

The 22-year-old centre has spent most of the past two seasons with the Vancouver Canucks organization. On Monday the Canucks sent out this tweet.

Fox went undrafted after a career with the London Knights and Erie Otters. Vancouver signed him in 2013, after which he spent most of his time with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings. In 53 games with the Wings, Fox scored 26 goals and 24 assists.

Reports say the Thamesville native will be assigned to the Carolina Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
