Important Games For Vipers And Flyers

Leamington's looking to close out its first round playoff series in St. Mary's, while the LaSalle Vipers can gain control of their series, hosting Sarnia.

The Flyers already lead their best-of-seven 3-0 after a 10-2 thrashing of the Lincolns on Sunday.

The series between the one and eight seeds hasn't been close, as Leamington's outscored St. Mary's 22-4 so far.

LaSalle and Sarnia, on the other hand, continue to exchange blows, leading to a 2-2 series after four games.

The Vipers have come away with two home wins, outscoring the Legionnaires 12-3 in those contests.

Puck drop at the Vollmer Complex is set for 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
