Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – March 10, 2016

The Amherstburg Integrity Admirals scored a 3-1 victory over the Essex 73's to tie their playoff series 1-1 on Thursday.

Dylan Muzzatti led Amhersburg with two goals, while Luke Gangnon had one.  Max Viselli scored the only goal for Essex.

The two teams return to the ice for Game 3 on Saturday at 7pm.

In Junior A hockey action, the Kingsville Kings shutout the Halton Ravens 6-0 to win in the South Division.

Zack Zulkanycz led the Kings with a hat-trick, while Dan Leach scored twice. Lukas Havelka also scored one for Kingsville.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
