Express Get Payback Against A's

The Windsor Express edged the Orangeville A's 102-100 in a close game on Sunday.

After the first quarter ended with the two teams tied 22-22, the Express edged ahead 48-41 going into halftime. The A's narrowed the gap in the third to make it 73-70 for Windsor, and then took the lead in fourth. However, Windsor regained the advantage and held on to win, even with the A's one point away in the final seconds of the game.

Chris Commons scored a game high 31 points for Windsor and had five rebounds. Tony Bennett had 19 points and nine rebounds.

The game served as a bit of payback for the Express, after Windsor suffered a 113-98 loss to Orangeville on Friday.

The Express are in Windsor to take on the Saint John Mill Rats next on May 20 at 2pm.
