Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – March 18, 2016

The LaSalle Vipers beat the London Nationals 4-3 in overtime on Friday to tie the Junior B playoff series 1-1.

Manny Silverio led LaSalle with two goals, while Brett Primeau had one. Ryan Sarris scored the game winner 6:35 into OT.

The Vipers and the Nationals return to the ice for Game 3 on Saturday at 7:30pm.

In Junior C hockey, the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals edged the Essex 73's 3-2 in overtime to force a Game 7.

Dean Patterson and Travis Campbell scored one each for the Admirals, and James Brooks scored the game winner in OT.

Griffin McCarty and Max Viselli scored the two goals for Essex.

The two teams return to the ice on Sunday for Game 7 at 2:30pm.

And in Junior A hockey, the Kingsville Kings downed the Tottenham Steam 4-1.

Ludwig Niederbach, Lukas Havelka, Devin Darrah and Mathias Gardiman scored one each for the Kings.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
