Vipers Hold On Against Nationals

The LaSalle Vipers staved off eliminated by scoring a 7-3 win over the London Nationals on Wednesday.

The Vipers took a 2-1 lead over London in the first period and extended it to 3-1 in the second. The Vipers scored another four goals over two from the Nationals to leave the ice with the win.

Nathan Savage scored twice for LaSalle, while Daniel Beaudoin, Liam MacDougall, Brett Primeau, Eric Kirby and Blake Jones all scored once.

London currently leads the series 3-2.

The Vipers return to the ice on Thursday at 7pm to take on the Nationals in Game 6.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
