Last night the 73's beat the Dorchester Dolphins 4-1 to win the quarter-final series in four straight.
Eric Shaw led the 73's with a goal and an assist, while teammate Trevor Wheaton made 29 saves to get the win.
Essex will face the Ayr Centennials in the semi-finals. No word yet on when that series will start.
