Evenly Matched West Final Kicks Off

The GOJHL Western Conference Final gets started tonight, as Leamington hosts London.

The Flyers only lost eight times during the regular season, but three of those came against the second-placed Nationals.

Leamington Head Coach Tony Piroski expects a tight series.

"They're a little quicker than we are, we might be a little bigger than they are, both goaltenders are real good," says the coach. "So I mean it's going to come down to a bounce here, a break there, a save here."

Piroski feels like his team's battle tested after a six-game series with Chatham.

London's coming off a six-game series win over LaSalle.

The Flyers are gunning for their third straight Western Conference championship.  The Nationals had won two straight Western Conference titles in 2012 and 2013.

Tonight's puck drop is set for 7:10pm.
