Thrashers Prepare For Sophomore Season

The Wallaceburg Thrashers hope to build on last year's inaugural campaign with training camp starting this weekend.

The team will hold sessions over the next three weekends. They'll run from 10am to 12pm and again from 2pm to 3pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Head Coach and General Manager Gord Lilley says new recruits will be coming from across the country this year.

"We have some kids who were out west, and some others who had work committments last year, but they're going to be coming out. We have a couple more guys from Windsor who we're excited about coming to training camp and being part of the team."

Last year the Thrashers missed the Ontario Senior B lacrosse playoffs with a record of 2-14. All workouts for this year's training camp will be held at the Dresden arena.
