Nationals Beat Flyers For Series Lead

The London Nationals now lead the GOJHL Western Conference Final 3-2 after edging the Leamington Flyers 3-2 in overtime.

On Thursday, both teams scored in the first period to tie the game, but the Flyers scored to make it 2-1 going into the third. London was able to tie the game with less than a minute left in the game to force OT. The Nationals then scored 1:26 into extra time for the win.

Liam Hogan and Mitchell Amante both scored a goal for Leamington.

The Flyers and the Nationals head to London for Game 6 on Saturday at 7:30pm.
