Another Year For Griffith

Wallaceburg-native Seth Griffith is staying on with the NHL's Boston Bruins.

The 23-year-old forward signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Bruins. His contract carries a $625,000 hit against the team's salary cap.

Griffith was drafted 131st overall by the Bruins in the 5th round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He's played 34 games for the Bruins over two seasons scoring six goals and adding five assists.

Griffith has found much more success playing for the affiliate Providence Bruins of the AHL where he scored 24 goals in a 77 point season in 57 games. He was named an AHL First-Team All-Star for the 2015-2016 regular season.
