CCHS Student Win OFSAA

Carolyn Prins of Chatham Christian High School is a provincial champion.

She won the Jr. Girls triple jump Thursday afternoon at the OFSAA Track and Field Championships in Windsor.

Prins jumped 11.92m in the fourth round, just 5cm off the OFSAA record set back in 2008.

Prins competes Friday in the Jr. Girls long jump at noon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
