Chatham-Kent Cougars Advance To Division Final

The Chatham-Kent Cougars Bantam Boys are headed to the OFC's South Division Final.

The football team advanced thanks to a convincing 42-13 win over the Burlington Stampeders on Sunday.

After a close first half, the Cougars scored four touchdowns to secure the win, and a spot in the final.

Darion Bacik led the Cougars with three rushing touchdowns. Evan Torres threw two TD passes to Bennett Schaffer, and Nakoma Scott scored the other Cougars TD.

The Bantam boys will take on the undefeated Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Hamilton on Sunday, August 7th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
