Maroons Schedule Released

The Chatham Maroons will open the new GOJHL season on the road this fall.

The Maroons will start the season with two games at the Western Fair against Ancaster and Waterloo during the GOJHL Showcase in September.

Their first home game will be on Sunday, September 18 at 7pm against Sarnia.

Chatham's first game against the Leamington Flyers will be on September 25 at 7pm at Chatham Memorial Arena. The Flyers finished first in the Western Conference last season and knocked the Maroons out of the playoffs in a tight six-game series.

The Maroons' will play the majority of their home games on Sundays again, but they will also play a few home games at Memorial Arena on Thursdays late in the season.

They'll close out the season with a home game against the London Nationals on Sunday, February 26.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
